How can people this stupid exist? (Old news)

This is an older event but it popped into my head the other day so here it is.

One of the vile members of the estrogen-magnetic kaffeeklatsch The View made the comment that she was not sure that the Earth was round because she was too busy trying to take care of her kids. While we all appreciate her doing what she, as a parent, is supposed to do, we do take offense that she uses this as some kind of excuse for being as dumb as a rock. We all agree that the bible says that women are inferior to men but, gadzooks!, this hits the redline.


Dear              (and other flat-Earthers and Vapidoi):

The Earth is round. We have pictures of it, we have flown around it, our satellites orbit it, astronauts - even female astronauts, American and others - have peed themselves at its geometric beauty. When you are walking around the earth, looking up at the night sky, there is no one special step that makes the stars suddenly zip halfway across the sky. Nor will they change complete - different stars or suddenly there is the sun - which is what would happen if the Earth was a disc with a minor depth or completely two dimensional, respectively. We could not have subways or harvest natural resources without digging into someone's basement on the other side of the world. How can the oceans be so deep if the Earth is flat? This, you have difficulty believing. However, I'm sure that the invisible sky daddy has your full support - something that you have never seen, of which you have no picture, not one shred of proof exists in any form at all in three-, two-, or even one-dimension. Your ignorance is repulsive. Thank the FSM that your co-hens took you to task for it.
